The FOS HYDOR BSW PRO (L007882) is a powerhouse of a fixture, designed to be a "do-it-all" workhorse for outdoor festivals, large-scale events, and architectural installations.
Its primary strength lies in its IP65 rating combined with a high-output 500W LED engine, making it versatile enough to replace separate Beam, Spot, and Wash fixtures in your rig.
1. Optical Performance & Light Engine
The heart of the unit is a high-density LED engine designed for long-throw applications.
Light Source: 500 Watt White LED module.
Color Temperature: 7000K (Daylight cool).
Luminous Flux: Estimated ~25,000–30,000 lumens (varying by zoom angle).
Beam/Spot/Wash Modes:
Beam: 3° for sharp, narrow aerial effects.
Spot: Mid-range zoom for crisp gobo projection.
Wash: Up to 45° with the integrated frost filter for wide stage coverage.
Front Lens: Large-diameter antireflective lens for a uniform beam field.

Housing: Magnesium alloy. This is why it weighs only 28kg.
Protection Rating: IP65 (Dust-tight and protected against water jets from any angle).
Cooling System: Intelligent temperature-controlled fan system with a "Silent Mode" for theater applications.
Pan/Tilt: 540° Pan and 270° Tilt with 16-bit resolution and automatic repositioning if the head is knocked out of place.
